Stone Island Lightweight Navy jacket. Two button fastening front pockets and concealed button fastening. Detachable Stone Island Badge on the arm. The Compact Process comes from the treatment used on military uniforms, which were sewn in prisons and then washed at temperatures above 130C. Garments treated in this way shrunk so much that they had to be made 50% bigger. Stone Island uses this treatment to create a range of unique fabrics. Garments made from this material are easy to iron and do not wrinkle easily. Elasticated cuffs.
Stone Island Clothing @ Designerwear2u
Stone Island was the brainchild of Italian designer Massimo Osti and was established in 1981. The Stone Island label is now renowned for its research into garment construction and its meticulous dyeing processes. The desire for perfection allows Stone Island to create fabrics and technologies exclusive to the brand. These technologies have allowed Stone Island jackets to become vintage collectors items already even with the brands relatively brief history.
